Our boss (the senior manager) real mentor noticed him sitting in a corner, as he was all tensed. “Akash what happened? You seem worried, is everything fine? ” – The boss asked “Sir, it’s just the family thing. They are going through a tough phase and I am unable to help them. I am feeling helpless. ” – the colleague replied.
“Tell me what happened?” – inquired the boss “Sir, my father suffered heavy losses in his property and now we are almost bankrupt. He has to return the loan and we don’t have enough money“. – ” Replied the tensed colleague “How much money you need. Meet me today in the evening I will write you a cheque.
Now come here give me a hug and smile ” – replied to the boss. The boss not only showed humanity but also won the colleagues’ loyalty for life. Real Mentor you want to be a good boss, try not to be rude but be a little more empathetic towards your team.
