English is just another language.

Another language

My friend was rejected in every interview he gave, probably because he wasn’t good at conversing in English.

He was from a small village in U.P and had a very different accent whenever he tried to converse in English. Though he had a very good academic background, he was rejected in approx. 10+ jobs just because of his poor English.

Finally, he was hired by a startup (at a low salary) after a year of struggle, and it changed his life completely. He did exceptionally well in the organization and won various awards. Not only did he develop amazing products, but also built a very good rapport with all the clients. He became friends with all of them. All this when he didn’t know how to talk in English.

Note: – Don’t mock people if they aren’t good at it. Look beyond it!! Do you think in today’s world, it’s important for employees to have proficiency in the English just another language? Or would you hire an employee even if he/she has got the relevant skills but is from a Hindi medium school?
