Not all of your marketing needs to be measured.

Tons of what you do should be considered brand building. Long-term stuff that should not be measured in the short-term.

For example… posting something on LinkedIn on Saturday morning at 9am.

Are a lot of people going to see this? Maybe. Maybe not.

Are a lot of people going to engage with it? Probably not.

Does that mean it’s a waste of time? Definitely no.

Is it worth my time to try and measure the success or impact of this post? Also no.

Basically, don’t overthink things when it comes to marketing. Have a strategy, stick to it and be patient.

If you try to measure everything, you’ll go crazy and it will actually have a negative impact in the long run.
